Playing hooky

We took the day off from work/school yesterday to drive up the North Shore near Finland and to take advantage of what will probably be one of the last really beautiful days of the fall. We went grouse hunting and fishing with our dog, Nora. For those of you who don't know, we had to bring Trouble back because he was showing aggression towards other dogs, aggression towards us, and having an extremely difficult time adjusting to the city life. Last week we adopted Nora instead, and she is a really great dog! Nora loves the outdoors but is equally happy snoozing around the house. Unlike Trouble, she actually sleeps in past 6 a.m., which is nice for us...especially on the weekends! Below are some pictures from our mini-trip:

Welcome to Nora! Are you sure she doesn't want a little puppy friend to join her at Christmas?
