John is in St. Paul this week for meetings, and he is staying overnight for a couple of nights, so his mom came up last night to help out in his absence. I really appreciated her help (and the delicious steak and potatoes dinner that she made), and I think she enjoyed having some time with her grandson.
We also had Paul's two-month appt. earlier this week and he is in the 90th percentile for height (24 inches) and weight (14 lbs) and 75th percentile for head circumference, so apparently he has a (relatively) small head. He's very healthy, though, and didn't even cry very hard when he got his vaccinations...guess he's shaping up to be a tough guy.
Developmentally, Paul is smiling and will coo back at us when he is in a good mood. His hands have started to find their way into his mouth, and he is developing more cries and vocalizations when he is hungry, angry, tired, etc. AND, most remarkably, he only woke up only ONCE last night!! I don't expect that to be an every night occurrence for awhile, but it is nice to see that there might be an end in sight to the twice (occasionally thrice) nightly feedings. Now, if I can just get him to nap!!

Oh....I love the "Do."
Can I work on a 50's "ducktail" for the little bruiser?
Love the new Do.
He's getting so big already! Katrina is excited to meet him. Everytime we go to a store, she finds baby toys/clothes etc and asks if we could buy this for Baby Paul.
