Blanding's Turtle Sighting!
Blanding's Turtles are a threatened species in Minnesota, but Nora found this one wandering across the road just a block down from our house. After we got John and Paul, we watched it wander off through the grass towards the 30 acres of yet-to-be-developed woods behind our house.

I bet Nora scared the bejeebers out of it . . .
Ha ha! Actually it scared the bejeebers out of Nora when it disappeared into its shell.
