Mobility

Paul had his 6 mo appointment yesterday. Weighs in at 17 lbs 10 oz (50%), measures 26.25" (50%), and has a head circumference of 18" (90%). Apparently all those late night feedings (yes, he still gets up every 5 hours at night to eat) have just been going towards his head! Also, just since Sunday, he has transformed into a rolling, turning, army-crawling, grabbing machine. He can also sit unsupported, but since he we usually put some pillows behind him just-in-case, he loves to flop over backwards onto the pillow and then get down on his tummy where he can move.

We've also started solids. But ever since he can crawl, Paul hasn't been much interested in eating...after a bite or two, he loses interest and tries to figure out a way to get out of his high chair. That being said, he has sampled bananas, rice cereal, peas, chicken, and sweet potatoes during the past couple of weeks. Chicken has been, by far, his favorite, followed by bananas.

(Sorry, our new widescreen HD videos are too big to post on blogger, so here is a compressed version)

Can you believe Paul is 6 months old already? I can't believe that Rachel is already over 10 months old. She looks more like a toddler to me these days than a baby :(

Looks like he enjoys chewing the high chair best!
