Paul is more or less refusing anything offered to him on a spoon these days, but he LOVES to feed himself. I am running out of ideas for finger foods. Any suggestions out there?
Things I tried with my kids: rice cakes, soft-cooked carrots, zwieback, sticky rice, hamburger chunks, Brezeln, sweet potato chunks . . .
Johanna wouldn't eat anything she couldn't feed to herself, and she didn't have the dexterity till she was about nine months old, so we nursed and nursed and nursed until then (sigh). Lilia could feed herself quite adeptly with a spoon by the time she was 10.5 months, at which point she also had six teeth and could chew a little bit. With any luck, Paul will also figure silverware out soon, then you can dispense with the finger food menu!

At the age of 11 months, Paul's Momma refused to let anyone feed her either. Thus, we just scheduled bath time right after the evening meal.
