SNOW!!!

As of last Friday (2/23), the snowfall in Duluth was 38" below average for the winter (we didn't have any). In the past week, we've received two major snowstorms--12" last weekend and a huge blizzard with 60 mph wind gusts and around 18" of snow last night. We are supposed to have an additional 4" today...that makes almost a whole winter's worth of snow in one week!

Notice the bent icicles on our neighbor's house. The wind was incredible.

The plows were pulled from the streets last night due to the heavy snowfall and blowing winds. Some of the side streets aren't expected to be plowed until Sunday.

We are grateful that John purchased a used snowblower this past fall!

All Duluth schools and most businesses are closed today. The majority of vehicles on the road near our house have been snowmobiles.

Do you have any spring fishing pics?

I hope you are taking good care of your backs so that you will be ready to put the dock in on the weekend of April 21st.
