Who says -30 F windchill is too cold for a walk?

And just in case you were curious, yes, it is also possible to overheat in -30 F windchills--just gotta have the right gear. Thanks, Gram, for sending Grandad's uber warm coat to us in the Northland. It has been put to good use!

Doesn't poor Nora get cold??

Nora is a total snow dog--even after a 45 minute walk in such cold weather, I have to coax her back indoors!

If she was a bit larger, she'd make a great sled dog.

Did you get Nora to wear those little booties?

Yeah, I put the booties on when I took her for a walk tonight, but it makes her WILD. It's funny at first, but it gets annoying after awhile when she doesn't settle down and ends up pulling almost the whole time.

That is too funny. Reilly used to have booties, too, for when we had all the red clay when we first moved into our old house. She went CRAZY too in them! It was like she was Wonder Dog! We would put them on her just to get a good laugh!
