and I feel huge! Based on how often this baby kicks me, I think he/she can't wait to stretch out his/her legs.
In related news, I passed my glucose screening test (barely, but hey, I passed) so for now I don't have to do anything else. I have been reading about the benefits of a high protein diet for pregnant women, and I have to admit that with all the eggs, peanut butter, and cottage cheese I've been eating lately (in addition to lots of fruits and veggies), I do feel better--less leg achiness and no gigantic sugar crashes. Well, unless I forget to bring a snack with me if I'm going to be away from food for >3 hours.
Some of you have been requesting photos, so here you are (maybe if I feel braver in a few weeks I'll even post a bare belly photo):

Lookin' good? Any stretch marks yet? I didn't get any till the seventh month . . . then from one day to the next I had them everywhere. Urgh.
Hang in there!
you look great, beth! Congrats on passing the test. I did not get stretch marks with either pregnancy. I used shea butter every day but I have also heard it can be genetic!
I meant of course to write 'Lookin' good!' I would have flunked typing if I had to take it over again . . .
No stretch marks so far (fingers crossed) except for one place where I have a large scar. Apparently scar tissue doesn't stretch well.
Bare belly? Some of us prefer medical images. :-)
Anonymized, of course.
Johanna loves the picture of Nora. "Doggie! Doggie! Doggie! Woof! Woof!"
you do look great! And I'd say we have pretty comprable belly sizes so don't worry - you're not too big! Elizabeth
OMG! You seriously are so cute! Jeff and I like how Nora is always hanging out by you. Nora is also cute.
