Paul will be a big brother come early February (thanks for the shirt, Allison).

Now that I'm done with the first trimester, it would be nice if the nausea and fatigue would go away. And I'm waiting for the second trimester energy to show up any day now - it would be very helpful to stay awake past 8:30 p.m. if I'm to finish my dissertation before February. Is it too much to wish for my memory (which never fully recovered from my first pregnancy) to return, too?

Congrats yet again, Beth! Are you guys going to find out the sex? I can't remember if I have already asked you that.
Hope your energy returns soon!
Congrats!
Ha ha ha! Your memory will never really return (at least not while you have to remember everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, for 2 small people in addition to yourself.)
Nope, Jennifer, we have decided to wait to find out the gender. If it is a boy, we are set! Right season and everything for all the clothes. If it is a girl, I will be hitting lots of garage sales next summer.
Bethie - we indeed hope your energy returns soon so you can finish up your thesis. It would be nice to put that behind you.
As to the memory - well mine's been shot every since the chemo and the subsequent, continuing hormone therapy. Just smile and say, "sure thing, yeah, un huh", or whatever else works.
Love ya!
Wonderful news - congratulations! Paul is such a cutie you should have more. :)
Congrats Beth and John! I heard a rumor you were expecting baby #2- how crazy! I feel like Paul was just a baby last time I saw you guys...it's clearly been too long. He's practically a little man! Hope to see you soon so we can celebrate.
Love,
Meghan and Mike
