Cooke and Canning

Two weekends ago, Sept. 10, we went to Jay Cooke State Park (20 min. south of Duluth) to visit Jim and Jan who were on a camping trip. While there, we also went on a hike. You can see the fall colors just beginning to turn.

This past weekend, we visited Lake Hubert to help the parentals bring in the dock for the winter. We also canned 50 lbs. of tomatoes and several quarts of applesauce. I think we are ready for winter...or at least the next few weeks...thanks, Mom!
