This past weekend, John and I drove to the Brule River in Wisconsin to do some fishing, paddling, and camping, and to hang out with John's friends Ben and Hutch who drove up to join us Friday night.
Now, this is what I call a lunch! Smoked fish, crackers, cheese, summer sausage, veggies, dip, dried fruit, trail mix, and of course, beer.
Entertaining ourselves at camp...Nora loves to have us chase after her and her stick.
Caught my first fish of the year! A very small juvenile rainbow, a 7" brown, and this beautiful 11" brookie.

It looks cool in temperature and just a cool trip with a calm, cool and collected Nora in the canoe. Looks like a lot of fun!
