John and I spent Sunday afternoon tying flies for trout and bass fishing, eating smoked Lake Superior whitefish, and listening to fly-fishing podcasts. Can you tell that we are getting excited for fishing season?

My attempt at a "sparkle grub" I think a bass would try to eat this, don't you?

Our kitchen table converted to a fly-tying table and covered in appropriate fly-tying materials (including appetizers and drinks, of course).
