Nisswa Fireworks

Every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nisswa has a big celebration to kick off the Christmas shopping season. All the decorations are lit, the stores are opened, and there are bonfires, caroling, and hot apple cider. But the best part are the fireworks. And even better, this year we didn't have to brave the throngs of people or drive around town looking for a parking spot. Instead, we viewed the fireworks from the front yard of the cabin--it was like our own private show.

Wow, I was in town watching (almost right underneath them), but your shots with the reflection on the ice are really neat. Maybe next year, we should go sit on "your" hill to watch them, even if you aren't living there then!
