Not much to report these days. We are basically in a holding pattern, waiting for this baby to make his/her arrival. The baby does seem to be descending a bit, but otherwise, nothing seems to be happening. I told the baby s/he can come today, tomorrow morning, or next week--just not Friday night or Saturday. My doctor is gone this week, and the doctor covering for her will be gone this weekend. Perhaps the date of the arrival will be a good acid test of this baby's personality, and how well s/he listens to his/her mom! :)
Otherwise, all told, I'm still fairly comfortable and am even getting some good sleep at night (have to enjoy that while it lasts!). I just wake up more frequently to go to the bathroom and reposition myself.
I'm still taking the dog out for at least one walk everyday, too, although it has been brutally cold and windy the past several days. However, today it is supposed to warm up to 30 degrees! It will feel like spring after all the negative windchills we've experienced lately.
Keep your fingers crossed for us...hopefully it won't be long now...

The baby will come on Friday or Saturday, I guarantee it. Birth always loves to throw a curveball in there!
I had no signs whatsoever of impending labor. Funny, huh? All of a sudden, at midnight, my contractions just started, 10 minutes apart, and BOOM! I was in labor!
So you never know........
