We went to Paul's 1.5 week doctor appointment this week, and everything looks good! He weighed in at a hefty 9 lbs. 7 oz., which was 3 oz. more than his birth weight. The doctor said that he looked so healthy that we don't need to return until his 2 month appointment. Because Paul is such a frequent and voracious eater, I sometimes feel like a 24/7 snack bar, so it has been nice to know that he is gaining weight and doing well.
In other news, our home financing has been approved and we have moved our closing date up to Tuesday. We had the final walk-through of the house on Friday. Hard to believe we will be home owners in just two short days! We are renting the cabin through mid-March, though, so we'll have some time to paint and move in addition to caring for an infant.
