BUT last night he had a great night. I was still up every 2 hours to feed him, but I expect that...it was heavenly to actually sleep in between feedings rather than spend the entire night trying to get him to fall back asleep. I feel like a new person today--even though I still probably only got about six or seven hours of sleep total. Here's hoping that Paul has turned over a new leaf and that there will be more good nights than bad ones in the upcoming weeks.
Anyway, here are a couple more pictures of our cute little guy.

Grandma Cindy knit some very beautiful warm alpaca booties that he has been wearing over his pajamas now that he has stretched his feet out a bit (like his mom, his hands and feet are always cold). John really liked the "retro" look we had going on yesterday--the orange striped halloween pajamas and brown booties.

He is such a handsome, little boy!
Sleeping on the back is hard, esp. when babies get naps during the day on their mommies and daddies (the one thing I miss soooooooooo much!).
There is a great book that I used with both my girls, called Babywise. Not sure if you have heard of it, but I loved it and used it with both my girls.
Good luck with the back sleeping! I love the pictures!
Hey, there's nothing wrong with that sleeper! It was Jorgen's favorite! J/K (Actually I do think Jorgen wore it for his 1 month picture) Let's hope you didn't jinx the one good night you had.
Overwhelmed with advice from your friends and family yet? too bad - I remember when Halene was tiny, someone showed us how to swaddle her nice and super tight when it was time to sleep - and it worked, we ended up swaddling her way past the usual age just because she seemed to like it so much.
Paul is so beautiful! beautiful - John looks to have been a little cutie too:-)
