I would take it if you tell me it is not hard work to keep up. Emma has been asking for a hamster but fish sound much better to me.
Especially since the sign at the pet store says "Caring for your rodent".

Shipping to Germany is surely prohibitive . . . plus I'm having a hard enough time keeping the plants alive . . .
Could I use it to keep my crappie
minnows alive or my fatheads in the summer when Lake Huebert water is too warm?

Well, mostly an aquarium isn't musch work...unless you have an algae problem (which my tank currently has), easily remedies by buying algae-eater fish. My algae-eaters bought the fish farm last fall, though, and I haven't replaced them...
Steve told me to pass on it.....he doesn't want to get stuck caring for fish!
Maybe Andrew would like it? He can relive his childhood moment of throwing an entire bag of Double-Stuff Oreos into a tank full of fish and baby fish!
