I'm now 19 weeks along in this pregnancy...hard to believe we are already halfway to meeting this new little person. And it certainly feels more real lately--whereas for a couple of weeks I have felt intermittent fluttering, usually at night, that I assumed was the babe (but a little hard to tell if just my imagination), the last few days the movement has been much more vigorous. I can now feel the baby moving in the mornings, evenings, and especially in the car. Yesterday as we drove back from the cities and were listening to the end of the Vikings game, the baby really started kicking (maybe in protest of how poorly the Vikes were playing?), enough so that John could feel it for the first time!
One thing we haven't made much progress on is names. Any suggestions out there? I think we are leaning towards not finding out the gender of the baby ahead of time, so we'll need ideas for both boy and girl names.

Do you want German names? I have three or four books supplied by friends/relatives . . .
Katrina likes Golden (that's fancy for yellow)
Jorgen votes for Terrell or he thought Owens might be a good name too. (Maybe I shouldn't ask him after he stayed up late listening to the Cowboys)
I think Emma and Sarah are good names of girls! Or Jennifer!
Find out the gender!!! It kills me to have to wait for babies to be born to know!!!
Jill - can you overnight your German names book over here? We still don't have any names if its a boy!!!!
Gretchen - what are you doing letting Jorgen watch the Cowboys play? Surely you aren't Cowboy fans??
I've always liked Elizabeth as a girls name. You should probably think of something other than John for a boy - that would be too confusing with 3 Johns in the family.
Of course you could always name a girl after your favorite aunt - Cynthia!
Technically speaking...Jonas is a form of John! So that would be 4 John's in the "family".
Jorgen's new vote is for Dallas if its a boy... I sense a theme in the names that he picks out.
For those wondering, I am a Packer Fan, Brian is a Vikings fan, and Jorgen loves stars and the color blue, therefore he is a Cowboy fan.
Just don't go with Emily Elizabeth, or else you'll have to paint Nora RED!
The trend now is for boys to end with the letter "n" and girls to end with "a".... I bet you didn't know how trendy your brother was!
