Day trip to Ely

We were at a rustic resort late last week to spend some time with John's family. We took a day trip to Ely and went hiking at Bass Lake to get Nora some exercise.






Afterwards, we stopped for lunch at Ely and then went to Dairy Queen for dessert. The woman at the drive thru asked if we wanted a "dog treat" for Nora. We thought that meant a doggy biscuit and said "sure!" only to discover that a Dairy Queen dog treat is half a cup of soft serve ice cream. Nora loved it.
