Conducting "research"

I was at the Trout Lake Research Station last week in northern Wisconsin to conduct some research on an area lake. We took a break from research the second day to go fishing for bass in a secret spot that my advisor made me swear never to tell another soul. There was some good action, made especially exciting by the occasional swipe of the topwater lure by a pike or musky.
